For Fun!

Outside of astronomy, I really love trying out many different hobbies as well as revitalizing some old ones! Recently, I’ve been enjoying figure skating, painting, sewing, playing puzzle and RPG video games, and reading sci-fi/fantasy books (I’ve been obsessed with Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere books!).

Last year, I made my first Star Wars cosplay from scratch! This is Padmé’s lake dress from Episode II.

During my last semester of undergrad, my friend Yao and I were commissioned by the Harvard Physics Department to paint a mural in the Science Center teaching laboratory. We were inspired by the art of “Where’s Waldo?” to hide many physics and astrophysics-themed subjects throughout the painting!
